I was lecturing on alcohol the other night, and in the course of that I taught my students how to estimate their BAL from drinks consumed. All you need to know is the %ABV, volume consumed, the specific gravity of ethanol (it's 0.8), the approximate water distribution volume of your body (about 66% for women and 75% for men) and be able to convert everything (including your weight) into metric.

And if you can remember how to do all that and calculate it correctly...you're probably OK to drive home.

Cracking the window only enough to give your license and registration id just going to piss off the cop. Besides if the cop wants too, he has the right to order you out of the vehicle and you must comply. At that point he will have a full view of the interior of the vehicle when you open the door. Best thing to do is roll down the window all the way and be polite, cracking your window is not polite. Take this advice from a cop who is also a libertarian. PS-- I like it when law abiding citizens carry firearms, especially concealed carry permit holders.
